This page is all about a recent online game that I've been playing.
It's called Warframe and it's free, just go to The Warframe Website and download and play it for free.
Here's a link to a beginners guide: Beginners guide
If you like the game and wish to join others online to work as a team then you may want to join our clan, details below.

Kiwi Army
If you live in New Zealand or are a Kiwi living in a similar time zone and want to play with others in the same timezone then join us. It's free so why not give it a go. Both beginners and battle hardened Tenno are welcome, we just want to have some fun, no pressure, we may even meet up in real life which might be fun. You can be someone in a small clan and not just a number, let's build this together, it's new for us as well but the game is great so why not take the next step and join up. Just email [email protected] with your username and I'll send you a clan invite, my in game name is -Eno-
Our clan name is Kiwi Army.
It's easy to join and just as easy to opt out, so there is nothing to lose.

I'm currently a level 15 (July 2014) player but the idea of a clan is still very new for me, so let's see how many members we get and then see how it evolves from there.
I would also like to make it clear that I run the clan & this page because I like the game, I do not make any money or charge anything for this, I would just like to play alongside fellow Kiwis and make use of the Oceanic server.
Benefits
There seems to be lots of benefits when joining a clan but the 2 main ones are:
You can build new weapons that are not available to none clan members.
Clan members will help you in your missions and help answer any questions.
You can trade mods using the clan trading post.

What's Happening
20th August 2013: Created clan & made this web page.
21st August 2013: Created the slide show header at the top of this page.
22nd August 2013: Clan key built so my first visit to the Clan Dojo. It looks great, and it also seems fairly straight forward to create more rooms and without using too many resources either. I'll have to research how best to set it up & what rooms to build first.
22nd August 2013: OK so it looks like I need to make the following rooms in the following order and see how far I get before I run out of building ,materials etc:
Cross shaped room.
Reactor.
Oracle.
Another cross.
Energy Lab.
Another cross.
Bio Lab.
Chem Lab
There are other rooms such as dueling & obstacle rooms & of course bigger barracks if we get more members but this looks like the way to go to get our hands on new weapons.
22nd August 2013: Making my first room, it's only a cross shaped room but it's a start.
23rd August 2013: Cross piece finished + started making the reactor which will be ready tomorrow.
24th August 2013: Reactor completed + started the Oracle & another cross piece which will both be finished tomorrow then I can start on the Labs.
25th August 2013: Oracle completed + 2 other reactors and the Energy & Bio Labs will be finished tomorrow.
The complete plan should be finished in a couple of days, I still have plenty of resources to finish it all so opening all those crates etc was worth it in the end.
26th August 2013: Energy & Bio Labs finished, Chem Lab, Duelling Room & Obstacle Course started. Also weapons research began in the Energy & Bio Labs. Welcome to our first member LordMavis who joined today
27th August 2013: Welcome to our newest member Predatory.
28th August 2013: Had a go on the new Obstacle Course today, lots of fun, I eventually completed it.
29th August 2013: Our first 2 research items are now ready in the Labs.
30th August 2013: Our first 2 weapons will be ready in 2 days.
2nd September 2013: Welcome to Atled our latest Clan recruit
4th September 2013: Welcome to our 5th member Norcimo
6th September 2013: All weapon research is completed & most weapon blueprints are available, some may need a contribution of materials to finish them off as I'm getting a bit low on materials but I've contributed all the credits.
7th September 2013: Helpful info- Only the host can invite someone to a void mission. The host enters the key & invites people before pressing play. They can be invited in the normal way if they are a friend, even other clan members have to be friends. If you want to invite a none friend from within the recruiting chat window then type in the following:
/invite name
To whisper chat: /w name message
To reply to a whisper chat: /r message
11th September 2013: At last, from 4pm today, all clan weapon blueprints are now available from the labs. Unfortunately I used all my forma on building the Dojo and now I don't have any for building the weapons so please invite me on some void missions.
15th September 2013: OMG, update 10 is here, it has so many changes it's difficult to take it all in. There are 2 new warframes, although one is a prime warframe that you get from Void missions, plus there are even more clan weapons & something called Conclaves. Here's a link to a short video about Conclaves & Conclave ratings: Conclave video
16th September 2013: Towards the bottom of the page I added a list of the clan weapons including the new ones from update 10, click on each weapon to bring up the Wiki page for more detailed information.
20th September 2013: Found out today that the Forma drops were accidentally low on the void missions & I'm fairly sure that has now been fixed, so I wasn't just unlucky which is good news.
Also it is a good time to mention the multi-thread option which utilizes the potential of multi-core PCs, I've only got a dual core PC but I switched over & it all seems to work fine however I never really had any issues before. You can activate multi-thread via the gear icon on the launcher screen.
One last thing for users with network problems, especially users that are on the same network (same house etc), go into the gear icon from the main planet screen & select a different port, the default is 3960 & 3962 & all users on the same router/network should use a different port. Here's a link that should help with various network issues especially the Strict nat error: https://warframe.com/strictNAT
I almost forgot, the new clan sentinel Djinn will be ready this evening around 6pm & the other weapon Synapse will be ready around 10:30pm ish tonight. Get making those mutagen mass you're going to need them.
21st September 2013: A recent update now means you will need less mutagen & forma to make the new clan weapons, if you have already made them then you will be reimbursed, great news for us all. I have made the changes in the clan weapon table further down the page.
22nd September 2013: I've been wanting a comprehensive list of the drop rates of prime parts from the void & I came across this which covers everything Warframe 10.0.1.0 Reward Table
With a bit more research I put together a handy table below showing the void mission weapon & warframe drops which you can use as a tick sheet to keep track of all those void weapon parts. The table is further down on this page.
24th September 2013: I've finally run out of Mutagen samples. The only place to get them since update 10 is the Orokin Derelict with the defense missions being the best place. It takes 10 Mutagen Samples to make 1 Mutagen Mass, OMG I'm going to be doing this for ages, that & trying to get more forma will keep me busy for a while. Come & join me if you need some.
25th September 2013: Welcome to MASTURCH13F our latest recruit, a Kiwi living in Australia.
26th September 2013: Welcome to Divinevoid, another Aucklander & new to Warframe so lets help him out.
28th September 2013: A Drum contest.......WTF........We are all warriors here, what's going on. Ah, 1000 platinum for each band member, I like platinum but there's no way I can play the drums. If anyone thinks they can do this then we will need to buy the drum kit, there are 8 drums & each drum has the following resource cost:
Credits: 501
Salvage: 301
Rubedo: 201
Circuits: 101
Neurodes: 1
The resources are not too bad so if you think you have what it takes to do this then let me know & we'll buy the drums, I'm willing to help play the dam things as well. Message me in game or send me an email.
Here's a link to the Drum Contest Info.
29th September 2013: What da ya know, we have drums, all we need now is a musician! The drums will be ready around 9:45pm tonight. So how about we meet up in the Dojo at 9:45 & give them a bash.
1st October 2013: The documents & tables that are featured on this web page can now be downloaded from the download section towards the bottom of this page. This will hopefully give our members an easier way to amend the docs for their own needs & to also provide an easier method for printing the docs. Predatory has written a doc covering Nightmare Missions which I have also added to the download section as well as pasting the nightmare mod table onto the website.
3rd October 2013: Welcome to Ralkaka our newest member.
4th October 2013: Not sure why but it looks like Ralkaka has left the clan, he's not on the Clan list in contacts anymore, I never even saw him online yet. That's a shame, oh well, back to our core group of 7. A part of me kind of likes a smaller group because you can get to know each other & their different style of play plus it keeps the Dojo building cost low. But the other half of me would like more members & more people to play alongside. It will of course get bigger & I'm happy with the steady growth so far. Plus with more members at least there is more of a chance that someone can play those dam drums.
Divinevoid has introduced a new member called SeungMin, he is fairly new to the game so let's help him out where we can.
6th October 2013: A new person to Warframe will undoubtedly have many questions regarding the game so I was contemplating writing a beginners guide. But I didn't want to reinvent the wheel each time I come up with an idea so I had a look at what's already out there, and of course the good old Wikia already has something that looks fairly good, it's a little old so some of the screenshots have change in appearance but it's good enough. There are videos showing the basics although I found the main one was narrated in an American accent by someone that clearly speaks twice as fast as I can think which I found a little annoying. I would recommend reading everything at least once without skipping articles, so here's the link which I've also added to the top of this page: Beginners Guide
8th October 2013: To continue to expand the Dojo we have to first build a bigger Hall to increase our capacity whilst keeping the hall we have, I propose to temporarily remove the Obstacle course & build the bigger hall there because it will fit & because it will be best for future expansion. Then replace the obstacle course on the end similar to before. I would like to keep the other end of the Dojo for more Labs & Reactors if needed. The Dojo belongs to us all so I would like your input or thumbs up for the plan via team chat or email, thanks -Eno-
9th October 2013: We have a proposal to incorporate an elevator from LordMavis, I like the idea so I'm going to ask you all to let me know if you agree, if so I will scrap the previous idea & go ahead & build it.
If you read the Dojo Layout plan below you will see that we need Energy & Capacity to build each room, we have enough Energy from the Reactors but we do not have enough Capacity. The only way to get more Capacity is to build a Bigger Hall, a prerequisite to build this is to already have a smaller hall which we have.
So this is really the main reason to build this bigger hall, ok so far?
So the bigger hall is big & will only fit where the Obstacle Course is unless we build an elevator, but we don't have enough Capacity to build an elevator, are you still following this, I hope so, I'll get to the point soon.
So if we remove the Dueling Room, we will be reimbursed all the building materials including the Capacity which will allow us to replace the Dueling Room with an elevator.
At the top of the elevator we can put the Bigger Hall which will then give us the Capacity to continue building.
Back on the ground floor we can then build a Zen Garden opposite the elevator which will create enough space to be able to rebuild & connect the Dueling Room to.
Even bigger Halls & Barracks can then be added on the second floor as necessary.
I really hope you have all followed this so far because I would like us to vote on this idea, just let me know via clan chat or email. I have added a plan view of the new 2 floor layout at the bottom of the page.
11th October 2013: The recent update now includes Dragon Keys, I think this is definitely something that we need to get together & play with a full team of 4 clan members. I've not tried it yet but it looks like fun, here's a link to what we have to do: Orokin Vault Dragon Keys
We now have our own Dojo elevator, I've built a Great Hall on level1 & a Zen Garden on the ground floor but I'm struggling for resources, I've added all the resources I have but I'd appreciate if someone can help out with the Ferrite & Forma, thanks.
13th October 2013: Still getting used to some of the changes in the new update, I like the new Mod layout in the weapon menus. The default for this new update is to have the multi-thread option turned off so if you have a PC with more than one core then turn this option back on, how to do this is in the September 20th Kiwi Clan update.
14th October 2013: I've added a list of the corrupted mods that are available from the Orokin Derelict Vaults, the list is in excel format in the download section towards the bottom of this page. (16 mods in total.)
16TH October 2013: We now have a new look Dueling room, I ran out of forma so please contribute one to building the Zen garden at the end of the new hall on the first floor, thanks. And remember to unequip your dragon key before doing normal missions, I keep forgetting so i have to learn the hard way.
10th November 2013: If you have Strict Nat problems with your network then please ensure UPnP is enabled in both Warframe & your router.
13th November 2013: If the clan has less than 10 members it is called a Ghost clan, to go over 10 members we have recently made a Shadow Barracks which lets us recruit up to 30 members so we are now officially a Shadow Clan. This is a big milestone in our clans evolution.
14th November 2013: Up until 25th November many of our members including myself are busy with exams or exam revision so we are not online as much as normal. Even Tenno have to train.
15th November 2013: Welcome to our newest member Godstrength, he is new to Warframe so lets help him out as much as we can.
16th November 2013: Welcome to our 13th member cookie.monster I think 13 is unlucky so let's get a 14th member quickly.
24th November 2013: Wow, Update 11 is here along with the new damage 2.0. I'm still trying to get to grips with all the changes but the damage 2.0 is a biggy, so much so that it has a huge affect on your weapon load out depending on the enemy type. So I've cut/pasted a Wikia damage 2.0 table below to help, the table is also available in our download section towards the bottom of the page. I was trying to do infested missions with a new Soma with serration & piercing hit, now I see why it didn't work, download & print the table & make sure you don't make the same mistake.
26th November 2013: Welcome to our 14th member Dragonridaz.
30th November 2013: Aeorune would like to have personal dormitories in the Dojo, I have added this concept to the Dojo plan at the bottom of this page. Because it's Aeorune's idea he will now be the Dorm manager so please see him about the details. He has asked me to add a doc 'Kiwi Army Dormitories Version 2' to the website which you can find in the download section of this page.
2nd December 2013: Welcome to Airflamix & Spliine, our latest recruits. Wow, that brings us to 16 members, I feel that we've now got to that comfortable size where there is normally always someone online. I even logged on at 1:30 am this morning, who was there....Atled!
4th December 2013: I have been putting off the whole Clan Emblem thing for a while, mainly because it will cost me 150 Plat to upload the design, then once it's uploaded a further 30 Plat for each member to buy it! But the clan is growing, so reluctantly I will pay for the upload, well.......once I get a design & a 50% off voucher!! So the design, the best way is to have an inter- clan design competition where clan members submit there design to me via email to [email protected]
The image needs to be a 128x128 .PNG format
I will judge the designs & upload the best one to our website for you all to view & comment on before I submit it to Warframe (and pay the 150 Plat!!!).
The design will get reviewed by Warframe & rejected without a refund if it is deemed offensive.
We will run this until we come across a worthy winner, Tenno can fight but is there also an artistic side to this race.
5th December 2013: Welcome to Incanzio, this makes a grand total of 17 members!
10th December 2013: Below I have added the first 3 entries to our clan emblem challenge, some are still a work in progress but I thought it would be good to show the progress so far.
23rd December 2013: Wow!! Another update, we have a new weapon in the Bio Lab, the research for that finished last night so it's now available.
A new warframe, the Oberon, is now available, the blueprint can be bought in the market & the parts can be earned from Earth/Everest missions.
There's also an event called the Cicero Crisis, it involves building anti toxins & depending what anti toxin you make you can gain event points when using it. So this would be a good opportunity for the clan to unite & participate in this event plus there's an event badge, some mods & weapons to be had so why not.
What we have to do is......Go to the market & buy a Vermillion anti toxin blueprint.
Buy a scanner from the market & equip it into your gear inventory.
Go to the Cicero Crisis node on Earth & there you will find flowers with yellow petals & flowers with white petals. Scan these flowers, to build a Vermillion anti toxin you will need 4 of each of the following plants:
Moonlight Jadeleaf
Moonlight Dragonlilly
Sunlight Jadeleaf
Sunlight Dragonlilly
These flowers can be difficult to find, the Jadeleaf is the yellow flower & is the hardest to find, it is always found near water which helps however there are some tips for farming these flowers.
The Moonlight plants can be found when the mission is set at night & the Sunlight plants can be found when the mission is set during the day, the day night cycle suppose to change every 6 hours but the Wikia suggests that the Sunlight lasts for 7 hours whilst the Moonlight lasts for 5 hours.
Here are the cycle times in NZ time: 1pm, 8pm, 1am, 8am.
So get together with another clan member & both start the mission on your own in Invite Only mode, make sure you do not have any toxins equipped, check the first tile or screen for a yellow plant, if there isn't one then abort the mission & start again, you may need to do this many times (average 5), keep doing this until you spot a yellow plant & then invite your other clan buddy to join, then both scan the yellow plant & complete the mission, there will be more white plants available during the mission& there may even be another yellow plant available so keep looking. You will need to complete the mission to keep the scans, the mission will be a fairly straightforward Extermination mission.
Within the same mission there is a place to enter the anti toxin, if you do this the mission will turn into a Defense mission, but we don't want to enter any anti toxins yet so just complete the mission as an Extermination mission.
When you have all 16 plants then go ahead & make the Vermillion anti toxin in the foundry, then equip it into your gear inventory.
When we have 4 clan members that have each made a Vermillion we can start the mission, we do however need to double check that each person has a vermillion equipped in their gear inventory before starting. OK so do the mission until you get to the Toxin Injector, then each person loads their Vermillion & the defense starts, it will be a long & difficult defense so everyone must have their best frame & weapons loaded & stay close so you can be quickly revived.
If the 4 members get through the defense mission then they will all be allocated 400 event point each which is the maximum & more than enough to each get the event goodies including the Twin Wraith Vipers, plus if the clan does well we may even get an event statue but all members would need to participate to be in with a chance of getting that.
By checking the clan event leaderboard you will be able to see who has not yet got the 400 points so you can invite them to the challenge.
The event leaderboard can be accessed by clicking on your name (anywhere in that bar) at the top left of the main planet screen, then select Leaderboards, Cicero Crisis, Clan, Top.
Sax_Defender, OnlyAnEnigma, Lordmavis & myself (_Eno_ ) tried it today & we all got 400 points, some of the Grineer have the Miter weapon which inflicts some serious damage so keep close to the Toxin Injector so you can easily revive each other if you need to, Rhino would be good here, Frosts globe also would be good as a safe place to shoot from but probably not needed to shield the Injector, plus I found a long range weapon was useful, I used my Snipertron Vandal which was good for distant enemies as well as my Braak pistol for the closer stuff.
The defense was easier than a T3 Void defense so as long as you stay together it will be easy enough.
Lordmavis & myself have spare Vermillions to help out if you need it, this maybe useful for those that are away over Xmas & don't have the time to farm the plants, please let us know if you need help, I know some people are away like Predatory who is back on the 29th but this event lasts until 6th January so we should all be ok.
Good luck Tenno.
29th December 2013: Welcome to our latest members, Johno42, Etex & Vernius. They are all Kiwis, 2 in Christchurch & 1 in Sydney.
Here's a link to the Warframe holiday specials https://warframe.com/news/warframe-holiday-specials
On the specials page they mention triple plat if you pay with an icash card. Well I'd never heard of the card so I looked into getting it, after 10 mins googling around all I managed to get was a phone number so I gave up, but hey if you have an icard then go get yourself some platinum.
I had high hopes of being able to afford to upload a clan emblem, oh well, I'll have to wait for that elusive 50% off daily logon reward, in the meantime keep sending those emblem designs.
30th December 2013: Welcome to our newest member KiLL.SWiTCH, a Kiwi from Wellington rank 6.
If you find yourself trying to get the 400 in the Cicero Crisis defense & you have inserted your toxin & then you find out that one person has forgotten their toxin, not equipped it or maybe their network crapped out & they lost connection. If that happens you will loose your vermillion & not get the 400, to stop that happening you will need to press the 2 keys ALT & F4 which will quit the Warframe application & you will not loose your toxin. I tried this & it works.
31st December2013: Do you have a steam account, if so go to the community market & get yourself a Phased Asa Syandana for 10 cents USD (1/1/14), plus there are other skins for sell such as the Phased Vauban skin & helmet for 20 cents (1/1/14). If you don't have a steam account them make one so you can get future offers, but new users are not able to get the skins, I think you need to be a member for at least 30 days. Get someone who is a member to get them & gift them to you. OK so you will need to download the steam version of warframe, when you start this version for the first time you will need to agree to link it with your warframe account or steam account or something like that, then you will never need to play the steam version again, it's just the same version as normal so it doesn't really matter what version you play. Steam generally has games for free or at amazing prices, I picked up Team Fortress 2 & Planet Side 2 for nothing whilst I was there. Plus I had a look at The Stanley Parable, has anyone played this, wow it messed my head up, check out the trailer videos on steam, the games insane, I'm not sure if my head is ready for it!
June 2014: I checked if I had all the Warframes that were available & found that I didn't have both the Loki & Rhino prime frames. Then I went searching for where I can get the parts from, it took me a while searching for something that I would have thought was critical information that every one needed so I've put a link here to the correct & always up to date page: Prime Gear Drop Locations
July 2014: I've been doing some trading recently. It's not something I thought I'd like but after doing so many Void runs I had loads of Prime parts & Blueprints left over so I thought I would give it a go.
I made just under 100 Platinum throughout my first day, whilst still doing void missions in between & collecting more items than I sold.
I would recommend it, what else are you going to do with those extra parts, you could sell them for a few thousand credits but I'm sure we all have enough credits by now, I know I do, I have 10 million!
Here's a link to a Trading price guide, from what I've seen people generally charge more than the guide:
Trading price Guide
Here's a quick guide on how to trade:
Get yourself into the Dojo near the trading kiosk.
Hit ESC to get the chat window.
Describe what you are selling in the Trading chat window.
Use shortcuts such as WTS (Willing To Sell) or WTB (Willing To Buy) or WTT (Willing To Trade).
Ask them to Pm or whisper you if they are interested.
Once you have a buyer then invite them to the Dojo with the /invite and their name.
Then go to the Trading Kiosk, hit X.
Highlight the trader at the top & click on Trade.
It's fairly self explanatory from then on, you offer an item & they offer some Platinum & you agree.
Then you both exit the Dojo when you are finished.
The reason I have so many Prime parts is that I'm trying to get every prime Frame, almost there just need Loki Prime Helmet & then I'll move on to get the Wyrm Prime Sentinel.
July 2014: Our new Clan Emblem is now available. I've added a pic of it further up this page, I'm really pleased with it.
July 2014: Another huge update, update 14 really does make some huge changes & it also has it's fair share of problems. I've noticed that in our Dojo spawn room the floor has risen making the trading kiost look like it has sunk into the floor. This is a known problem but it does mean that we can not trade until it's fixed.
There is now a new Warframe called Mirage, however getting it is a bit different so here is a link to How to get the Mirage Wrframe.
We can now have our own dog that follows us around on missions, there are 4 different types & each type helps out with one or some of the following shields: killing, resources, bodyguard or even covert missions.
Here's a link that covers how to get it: How To Get A Kubrow.
I'd like to cover how to do Vors Prize Quest, but I had so many problems & reboots & relogs that I don't really know how I did it, actually I'm not even sure I have finished it but I seem to have everything unlocked in my spaceship so I hope that means it is done. I haven't found a suitable site that covers this quest so unfortunately no link for more information.
There are of course many other changes including additional game modes such as Hive Sabotage & the all new UI, not sure I like the new UI but i may get used to it.
20th August 2013: Created clan & made this web page.
21st August 2013: Created the slide show header at the top of this page.

Kiwi Clan Emblem Entries
We need more entries, I made 2 of the ones above in around 10 minutes by searching the internet & changing the image just enough to not infringe any copyright stuff, you can even get several images & join them together or lay one on top the other for a good affect. It takes time to create something from scratch & I really do not think we need to, we're warriors not artists, have a go & see what you can make. I only used Microsoft Paint which is very basic so give it a go.
More details can be found on our 4th Dec update above.

VOID MISSION Weapon & Warframe Drops
I put the following table together from information found on the Wiki.
The Void keys can be found on most defense missions after Wave 5-20. Easy missions for keys are Venus Kiliken & Earth Gaia as well as many more.

The table below splits the clan weapons into melee, secondary & primary weapons, plus it shows the quantity of clan components that are needed to be able to make each weapon in your foundry. So for example, if you wanted to make the Supra you would have to make 7 Fieldrons. Because each Fieldron takes 12 hours to craft it can take a lot of time & planning ahead before you need the weapon, which is the reason why I thought this chart would be useful. Get building your Fieldrons & other components as soon as you can, good luck.

This chart has also been updated Sept 21st to reflect the recent changes in component build quantities.

Below is an RSS feed for Warframe Alerts
I've trialed this for a month and it works well so I'm going to keep it in, especially as there are some bugs within release 10 that prevent the alerts appearing on the main menu screen. This RSS feed does however have a few things that I don't like but it's the best I've found so far.
What I don't like is that it doesn't show the date and time + you have to update the webpage (F5) to see a change.
But it does show the rewards if there are any & not just the credit reward.
The latest alert is the top one, but the expired alerts stay until they get bumped off by newer ones.
June 2014, just noticed that the RSS feed no longer works so I'm now using a Facebook RSS feed which is similar.
