Help Us

We hate waste and we are always looking at ways of using what others throw away.

But we have a problem, we have a couple of waste items of our own but we do not know what to do with them.

Both items look like they could be made into something, but what, please email us with any suggestions.

Beer Bottle Necks

We make beer bottles into drinking glasses and this is what is left over, they look good and must be able to be used for something. How about a piece of art or legs for an art piece, maybe a homemade chocolate fountain.

If you are interested in them for your project or have some suggestions then please email us.

Washing Machine Bowls

We make wind turbines from old washing machines but we haven't found a use for this part.
This is the inner drum, the bit you put the clothes in, it will not rust so it is perfect for a project outside.
As well as the center hole at the bottom, the wall of these drums have very small holes in them to let the water through. They may be good for large flower pots but it seems a shame to sell them for scrap.
They are fairly worthless as scrap as the dealers use a magnet to test if it's stainless steel or not, the magnet sticks to these which means they do not give you a stainless steel price for them. They still look like stainless steel to us but more importantly they look useful, the bowl can let water in through the sides but keep out larger impurities, may be it could be used for a tank water system or other water pumping project.
They look a bit dirty in the photo because we keep them outside but they clean up very quickly and easily to an almost mirror shine with just a hose.

If you are interested in them for your project or have some suggestions then please email us.
