How To Use Textured Terrain

Picture
It couldn't be easier, simply paint the modelling surface with a similar color to the textured terrain & allow to dry.
Then water down some PVA glue with an equal amount of water & paint the glue onto your modelling surface. It's a good idea to ensure you use a PVA glue that clearly states it will dry clear, most of them do. Use a slightly thicker solution (only 25% water) when applying the coarse basing grit.

Sprinkle your Textured Terrain product onto the glued surface & wait for the glue to dry, 24 hours is normally plenty of time.

Each bag of Textured Terrain will cover an approximate area of 450mm X 450mm.

Before it has dried gently tap off the excess Textured Terrain, try & keep the excess for future use.

For some models you may also want to seal or secure the Textured Terrain further by applying a top coat of watered down PVA glue but this is generally not necessary for the average model.

Have a look at our video below where we demonstrate how to apply the textured terrain.
